Little Pink Pantry: The Period Poverty Resource Project
Join us in our mission to combat period poverty in Maryland by promoting dignity, equity, and well-being.
Little Pink Pantry is a grassroots initiative inspired by the successful model of Little Free Libraries, but with a focus on providing essential period products instead of books. Our goal is to ensure that no individual in Maryland faces the challenges of period poverty, promoting dignity, equity, and well-being for all menstruators.
We are excited to announce our new partnership with the Baltimore County Library System! Our period pantries are now available in the Teen Hygiene Resource Centers of six libraries: North Point, Rosedale, Essex, Sollers Point, Randallstown, and Owings Mills. Additionally, we have a pantry in the Youth Mobile Resource Center, ensuring more teens have access to essential menstrual products. We also have a period pantry in the works in Wicomico County.
By providing free and easily accessible period products and raising awareness about period poverty, we aim to foster open conversations and reduce stigma surrounding menstruation. Interested in sponsoring a period pantry in your community? Contact us to learn how.
